The “90 for 90” initiative began in September 2015 with the goal to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Marymount School of New York by raising money to educate 90 children in Zimbabwe through RSHM ministries there. Since September there have been various fund raising activities: bake sales, coin drives, the Coinival, the 90 f0r 90 Tee shirt drive, and the A to Zimbabwe reading activity, school-wide denim days, and the Lower Mid dance-a-thon. As of April 2016, we have exceeded our fundraising goal! Here are the faces of children involved in this iniatiative on two continents.
