The Upper Middle School initiated a new tradition this year at 97th Street: the Father/Daughter Hip Hop Sock Hop! Students in Classes VI-VIII and their fathers took a musical tour through the decades, dancing to rock n’ roll, hip hop, and even Gangnam Style. From poodle skirts to hoodies and bling, everyone looked fun and festive in their costumes. SCOOZI Events catered the event and everyone loved their take on comfort food classics like milkshakes and tater tots. A great night was had by all!
