On Friday, April 7, the Marymount Singers performed a sold-out concert at the Sheen Center. Entitled "Vivos Voco," or Latin for "I Call the Living," the concert was divided into two parts. The first half of the concert celebrated female composers of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The Singers explored how girls can find their own voices through music. The second half of the concert paid homage to some of the most celebrated artists of the seventies and eighties.
