On Wednesday, March 4, Class VI invited their parents to a Medieval Festival. The performance consisted of adaptations of The Canterbury Tales as well as the legends of King Arthur and Robin Hood. Students delivered educational speeches about Medieval manners and culture. There was even an archery demonstration.In addition, students performed traditional Medieval dances and songs, and Medieval food was served, including smoked salmon and cinnamon porridge. Elegant costumes from the time period that were rented for the occasion were a bit hit among the girls, who felt it really helped them get into character. “It was not just an event.
