Medieval Festival 2016
On March 11, the gymnasium at 97th Street was transformed into a medieval banquet hall. Students produced coats of arms and illuminations to decorate the walls, wrote stories for their guests to read, and performed skits that they adapted themselves from the legends and stories of King Arthur, Robin Hood, and the Canterbury Tales. Their parents were entertained with their medieval song, dance, and storytelling. It was truly a remarkable celebration of their learning.
