Reunion Weekend 2017
Last weekend, alumnae from near and far came home to Marymount for Reunion 2017. To kick off the weekend on Friday, alumnae were treated to student-guided tours of Seurat's Circus Sideshow and the Age of Empires exhibits at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. A festive cocktail reception followed, featuring a great food, conversation, and a photobooth that kept guests entertained for hours!

On Saturday, after tours of the Fifth Avenue building, an information session about the school of the future was held with renowned architect, Rick Cook, followed by a panel of inspiring seniors who shared what life is like at Marymount today. Alumnae then enjoyed brunch and a performance from the Lower School Chorus as they caught up with their classmates and reminisced about their time at Marymount. Headmistress Concepcion Alvar acknowledged the classes ending in 2 and 7 who were celebrating special anniversaries and applauded the Classes of 2002 and 2012 for having the largest number of alumnae in attendance at Reunion. Marilyn Noz '57 received the Sister Collette McManus Award, which is given annually to an alumna who has offered her passion, time, and talent to Marymount. The day wrapped up with a visit to the archives to revisit old memories and ended with a special mass celebrated in the Chapel. It was a joyful weekend for reconnecting with old friends and teachers in the school where it all began.
