Our Lower Mid Rising Stars presented The Lion King Jr. for their fall musical performance. A record-breaking 39 students from Class III participated in the show -- singing, acting, dancing, and sharing their joyful message of Hakuna Matata with the whole community! When director Sarah Verasco welcomed her own two lion cubs in October, Margaret Gunther stepped in to co-direct the show and bring it to completion with the creative assistance of Jon Fuller, Carol Garcia, and Margaret Feldman. Gracing the 97th Street stage for the first time, our Rising Stars filled the space with beautiful energy and superb performances!
