Dreams came true for the Upper School Marymount Players with their production of Disney's The Little Mermaid! At three performances from April 20-22, the cast of 37 Marymount and Regis students entertained a sold out house of more than 1,600 people at the beautiful Gerald Lynch Theater at John Jay College. From flying to singing to tap dancing and acting, the cast and crew wowed audiences with their spectacular talent and craftmanship. The show was directed by Laura Pietropinto, with Musical Director Virginia Pike and Choreographer Kimberly Schafer. The stunning sets were designed by Stephen Davan (currently working on the design for Disney's Broadway-bound Frozen), and costume design was by Val Andrews. It was the first time the Marymount Players took the stage at a professional theater, and their talents proved this is exactly where they belong!
