Class IX transported us around the globe last week at their World Civilizations Festival. Part of the Humanities IX curriculum, students researched a topic in history and created a multimedia presentation for their fellow classmates and teachers. Students explored poetry in Ancient Rome, joined the Terracotta Warriors of Ancient China, and unwrapped the secrets to mummification in Ancient Egypt. This interdisciplinary celebration wove together the study of literature, history, art history, visual arts, performing arts, and religion. Brava to our girls for their impressive work!
