Religious Studies Teacher (Upper and/or Upper Mid)
Marymount School seeks an experienced religious studies teacher beginning in fall 2020 who is passionate about imparting a progressive Catholic education to middle and/or upper school girls from various faith traditions. Ideal candidates will be capable of teaching World Religions, Hebrew and Christian Scripture, Ethics, and the Catholic Sacraments. All Religious Studies faculty support Marymount’s campus ministry and sacramental formation programs and help prepare our students to take on leadership roles in liturgies, retreats, and social justice initiatives. We are looking for a person who takes the initiative to address pastoral care concerns. A master’s degree in theology, divinity, religious studies, or the equivalent is required. Relevant teaching experience and/or parish youth ministry experience is preferred.
