COOKFOX Comes to Class I

As part of their social studies unit on community, Class I got a visit from architects Pam Campbell and Bethany Borel of COOKFOX this week to discuss the plans for Marymount’s new building. Well-prepared with questions, Class I students asked about sustainability, electricity, and building materials. They were particularly excited to see the designs for the new classroom spaces and the Chapel. In addition to learning about our new building, the girls were also interested in how Ms. Campbell and Ms. Borel decided to pursue careers in architecture and how they made their dreams a reality. The architects were very impressed with the students’ curiosity and insightfulness, and Class I students are very excited about the construction of our new building!
