Visionary leadership that is bold and compassionate.
Marymount School of New York was built on the bold dream of our founder Mother Marie Joseph Butler: to prepare young women to challenge, shape, and change the world. Because we are deeply rooted in tradition, we have a strong foundation upon which to build a dynamic curricular and extracurricular program that meets the needs of 21st-century students. Cutting-edge technologies inspire innovative teaching practices, drive student-led exploration, and redefine the traditional learning paradigm. Like our founders before us, Marymount is a pioneer in a new educational landscape.

Our remarkable faculty creates a secure environment in which girls are able to take risks, ask challenging questions, and grow in confidence and conviction. Faculty members are models of lifelong learning and Christian values. In a quest to develop her own spiritual identity, each student explores questions of personal integrity, ethical decision-making, and social justice. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, Marymount is a community of faith, hope, and empowerment.

Every single child matters here at Marymount School. We are committed to serving her academically, spiritually, athletically, and artistically. In partnership with parents, we help each child reach her true potential. We hope you join us on this most exciting journey.
