To ensure we fulfill the RSHM mission “that all may have life, and have it to the full,” Marymount is committed to building a culture of inclusion and belonging so that all members of our community feel seen, supported, and valued. Through ongoing training and conversation, the School helps students and staff build cultural competency and speak out in the face of injustice. Marymount expects all constituents to respect each other in words and actions and to uphold community norms and expectations.

Curriculum

Marymount strives to amplify a wide array of voices and perspectives throughout the curriculum. Every year, we make curricular choices that allow students to explore topics of identity and community, to engage in respectful and well-informed dialogue, and to approach complex ideas with open minds and open hearts. Students learn to think critically about the world around them, while also developing the empathy and understanding needed to become forces for justice and agents of change.
