The Parents’ Association hosts a variety of opportunities throughout the year that allow the community to come together in celebration and support of Marymount. Parents/guardians are invited to volunteer their time and talents to facilitate the organization and operation of these special events. Volunteer opportunities for parents include:

Benefit Gala

This major fundraising event brings the entire community together for dinner, dancing, and an auction. 

Book Fair

These sales at each campus provides students an opportunity to celebrate a love of literacy and purchase books for both required and leisure reading.

Christmas Fair

A beloved tradition that kicks off the holiday season at Marymount, the Christmas Fair offers a wide variety of gift items for purchase, from hand-crafted Christmas trees to boutique luxury items.

Cultural Celebrations

Committed to building a culture of belonging, Marymount hosts cultural celebrations for Black History Month (Harambee), Latinx Heritage Month, Diwali, and Lunar New Year.

Homecoming Carnival

The Marymount community show their lion pride at Homecoming every fall by cheering our athletes on at games and attending a carnival filled with a whole lot of school spirit!

International Night

 This family-friendly evening celebrates the rich cultural heritages in our community through country booths, performances, and a fashion show. 

Lower Mid Square Dance

A tradition for over 70 years, students in Lower Mid bring their father, guardian, adult relative, or family friend for a fun-filled evening of square dancing, games, and refreshments.

Skating Party

A tradition for over 50 years, all members of the community are invited to spend a night skating under the stars.

In addition to event committees, parents also serve as:

  • Admissions Ambassadors
  • Annual Fund Grade-Level Captains
  • Faculty/Staff Appreciation Volunteers
  • "Roaring Lions" Parent Athletic Committee
  • School Store & Used Uniform Volunteers

Class representatives also host grade-level gatherings and service projects throughout the year to build community and class bonds.
