Marymount is thrilled to celebrate a love of literacy with the beloved N-V Book Fair on Friday, April 4! We strongly encourage parents/caregivers to accompany their child to the Book Fair. If you are unable to make it during their class slot, parents/caregivers are also invited to shop before school (7:30-8:00 a.m.) or after school (2:45-4:00 p.m.).

Books will be grouped by age/level in the Alumnae Parlor and the Great Room. Checkout, book donations, and the Marymount School Store will be located in the 1027 Lobby.

Book Fair Payments
Our Book Fair partner, McNally Jackson, accepts the following forms of payment: cash, credit/debit cards, and Apple/Google pay. Checks are not accepted. If you cannot attend and plan to send money with your child, you may wish to reference the average cost for the following books:
- Hardcover picture book: $19.99+
- Paperback: $6.99+
- Graphic novel/series: $12.99-$16.99
- Early reader paperback: $3.99-$5.99
Students should give their money to their homeroom teachers upon arrival for safe keeping and distribution at the Fair.
School Store
Brand-new Marymount merchandise for spring will be available for purchase in the 1027 Lobby! Students will only be able to shop the store if accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Thank you for your understanding.
Read-a-thon
Teachers, librarians, and literacy specialists are hard at work crafting fun and engaging activities designed to spur a lifelong love of literacy during the Read-a-thon that is also happening on Friday, April 4 for Lower School and throughout the week for Lower Mid. Students are invited to wear comfortable clothes on the day of the Book Fair!
Visiting Authors
Award winning authors Juana Martinez-Neal and Elise Broach are coming to Marymount! Juana Martinez-Neal, winner of a Caldecott Honor and Pura Belpré Award, will visit the Lower School on March 31; Elise Broach will present to Lower Middle School classes on April 3. Both authors will sign books after their presentations. Pre-orders must be submitted by March 14.
