Dresses for Confirmation should be:True-white; not off-white or cream coloredDresses need to have a hemline that is no more than 3 inches above the knee - good rule of thumb is to have dresses that drape over the knee when sittingMust have shoulder straps and cannot have spaghetti strapsIf students wear a dress or top with thin straps, a cardigan should be worn on topDresses, dress slacks, or dress outfits may not be too tight or form fittingShouldn’t be cut too high or too lowNo visible midriff, no cutouts, no slits above the kneeModest neckline, not too lowShoes must have backs, and high heels are not allowed Sacrament of Confirmation on May 3We are looking forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation in one week at Saint Ignatius Loyola Church (980 Park Avenue). On May 3, Class VIII will attend classes as usual until 12:00 p.m., and then will be dismissed to eat lunch and get changed. All Class VIII students and sponsors (if applicable) should meet at Saint Ignatius Loyola Church at 2:00, and Confirmation should end around 4:00 p.m. The service will be livestreamed on the Marymount Youtube channel, found here.	4

19	20	21	22 Upper Middle School Spring ConcertGet ready to celebrate the opening of our brand new Marymount Theater at 97th st at the UMS spring concert "Kaleidoscope"! Performing color inspired repertoire UMS students will showcase their musical skills and talents at this exciting event. This concert will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 1:30 p.m. Students will be provided with a t-shirt for the performance and should wear black leggings or pants to school. Sneakers are allowed.
