I know I am not the only one thinking: "How are we already in the middle of November?" But here we are cruising into the holiday season! There are many upcoming Marymount events and activities on the calendar to highlight. I hope you could attend the informative lecture by Dr. Lisa D'Amour at the first of our first Parent Education Series in October; If you missed that, please be sure to mark your calendars for two more interesting and thought-provoking lectures with Rachel Simmons on January 9 and April 2, 2020. We also look forward to seeing all of you at an essential Racial Literacy Workshop on Monday, November 18 with Dr. Jane Bolgatz and Martha Haakmat.
Thank you to all our Christmas crafters who have been busy creating amazing holiday items for Marymount's highly-anticipated "Christmas Around the World" Fair. Please check the website for remaining dates/times so you can help put the finishing touches on beautifully handmade crafts. We can't wait to celebrate with you at the Preview Reception on Tuesday, December 3. This is an adults-only shopping and social event, with many unique vendors, live music, holiday cocktails, and a truly spirited crowd coming together to kick off the Christmas season. The Christmas Fair on December 4 is open to everyone, so please bring your friends and family to get an early start on your holiday shopping. We hope you can join us!
Wishing the Marymount community an amazing countdown to the New Year, with all the school concerts, performances, and holiday merriment. I wish you peace and patience as you navigate through the coming weeks. Enjoy each day as it comes, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
