It is my great pleasure to welcome you to a new school year! I hope your summers were restful and rich with family and friendship time. A very special welcome to all of our new families – we can’t wait to get to know you and your precious children!
My name is Sandi Taylor, and I am stepping into the role of president of the Parents’ Association after serving on the PA and as an admissions ambassador for many years. My husband, Bill, and I are the proud parents of Abby ’23, Hannah ’25, and Margaret ’27. I work professionally with adolescent girls as a clinical mental health counselor, which means my world is focused on helping young people like our daughters at Marymount. I know we are all eager to see our girls grow into the young women they are meant to be! I am grateful to have Marymount as a partner in that sacred endeavor and to be a part of this special group of families.
I am thrilled that we are starting a new chapter of much anticipated normalcy after several challenging years. We look forward to having you back in our buildings in a more regular way as we resume the community-building events and beloved traditions that make our school so special. From the Lower Mid Square Dance to the Christmas Fair to the Annual Benefit, there are many opportunities to get involved. I hope to see you at many of these events as we have fun and grow in friendship and community.
Whether you are just joining our Marymount family or have been a part of it for years, there is so much to look forward to with hope and joyful anticipation, especially as we begin to prepare to move into our new home just a year from now. I look forward to getting to know you and working alongside many of you this year. In the meantime, enjoy these last few days of summer and do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything.
See you all very soon!
