Marymount School of New York offers two distinctive settings for meetings, celebrations, performances, and special events in the heart of Manhattan. At our Upper Campus on East 97th Street, a collection of modern, flexible spaces—including a state-of-the-art theater, rooftop garden, gymnasium, studios, classrooms, and event spaces—can accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
On the corner of 84th Street and Fifth Avenue, our historic Pratt Mansions offer a completely different experience: the grandeur and elegance of a Beaux-Arts landmark overlooking Central Park and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. An exquisite setting for weddings, private parties, receptions, and other special occasions, the Mansions offer an intimate and sophisticated Manhattan experience in the heart of the Upper East Side.
Whether you’re planning a corporate gathering, creative workshop, performance, celebration, or once-in-a-lifetime event, Marymount offers an exceptional setting for bringing people together in New York City. Facilities are available to non-profit organizations at a discounted rate.
Pratt Mansions
Step into the elegance of New York’s Gilded Age at Pratt Mansions, three interconnected historic mansions on Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Built between 1901 and 1904 and preserved as part of the Metropolitan Museum Historic District, the Mansions offer an extraordinary setting for weddings, private dinners, receptions, celebrations, meetings, and other special occasions.
Inside, beautifully appointed salons, marble details, fireplaces, wood paneling, and a grand ballroom create the feeling of an elegant private home. The ballroom, with its bay windows and views toward the Metropolitan Museum, accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated dinner, while the first-floor reception spaces offer additional flexibility for cocktails and larger gatherings.
Upper Campus
With modern amenities and flexible configurations, Marymount’s Upper Campus offers a fresh and distinctive setting for your next New York City event. Discover a versatile collection of contemporary event and gathering spaces in the heart of Manhattan at Marymount’s Upper Campus on East 97th Street. Designed with flexibility in mind, the campus offers an array of distinctive venues—from a state-of-the-art theater and rooftop garden to a full-size gymnasium, dance studio, café, dining terrace, and specialized classrooms and labs. Whether you’re planning a performance, corporate gathering, workshop, reception, athletic event, or private celebration, our spaces can be tailored to a wide range of occasions and group sizes.
Marymount THeater
The Marymount Theater is a dynamic performance space that provides a versatile setting for theatrical productions; choral, dance, and instrumental performances; guest speakers; presentations; and gatherings. The 24' x 36' stage is equipped with professional rigging systems and supported by a dedicated dressing room, making the theater well suited for productions and performances of all kinds. The proscenium theater seats up to 303 guests with 281 fixed seats (219 in the orchestra and 62 in the balcony) plus 22 flexible seats, allowing the space to adapt to a range of events and configurations. The venue is fully equipped with a control room and state-of-the-art audio/visual, lighting, and projection systems.
